The Chevrolet Spark is a car that has been on the market since 2010, and there are a number of different magazines and car reviewers that have had their turn behind the wheel of this small city car.  The looks of the car have been generally well accepted, with the large headlights and bold styling being quite similar to many other small cars that do tend to be a little more adventurous in their design.  There is no doubt that the car has been targeted at younger drivers, and touches like embedding the rear door handles into the window frame does help the car to stand out.

There are a number of different reviews of the Spark, and they have generally been quite positive about the car, with the competitive prices, low running costs and spacious interior being praised.  However, there is criticism of the car too, with a number of reviews mentioning that some of the interior plastics feel cheap and hard, and stating that the engine can become noisy when it is being worked quite hard.  The review of the Spark carried out by Auto Express also suggested that the car suffers from too much body roll while cornering.

On the whole the reviews of the Chevrolet Spark state that it is a competent city car that is more spacious than some rivals, and What Car? gives the vehicle three out of five stars, with only the most expensive cars getting two stars because of their purchase price.  Auto Express is more critical of the car giving the car two stars, while Parkers gives the car 3.5 out of 5.  The general perception of the Chevrolet Spark is that although it is a good alternative to the Toyota Aygo, it doesn't quite match up to the Japanese market leader in this class.
